Telemedicine

Telemedicine:

CIDM clinic is pleased to offer you a telemedicine service that is quick, efficient and personalized. This will allow you to obtain the advice of a family doctor without having to leave home or your work.
This service is suitable for medical conditions that do not require direct medical consultation. However, if the patient’s medical situation requires it, our doctors will provide an in-person medical consultation at our clinic in Montreal on the same day.

Telemedicine is suitable for cases like:

  • Management of a known chronic condition

  • An acute issue that does not require a physical examination

  • Need for a blood test or other types of diagnostic tests
  • Renewal of your medical prescription
  • Access to a specialist by using our referral services
  • A professional medical follow up if necessary

How does our telemedicine service work?

The telemedicine service at CIDM is very easy to use. You can make an appointment on our page by your RAMQ insurance number or requesting by email, or you can simply call our clinic if you don’t have RAMQ coverage.
When you need in-person medical consultation, just mention it while making your appointment.
You will receive a confirmation email and after that a doctor will contact you at the time of your appointment. You can also use our video-consultation platform when our doctors inform you.

Walk-in Clinic

Walk-in Clinic:

Walk-in clinics provide medical care for people who do not have a family doctor or have one and are unable to reach them.
You can see a doctor, often without an appointment or on the same day you make an appointment at a walk-in clinic, and get advice, assessment and treatment for minor illnesses and injuries such as urinary infections, sprains and skin complaints, and generally any diagnosis and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries.
If patients require consultation in the shortest possible time or if they need prescription renewal, specialist referral or follow-up about their chronic condition, driving license medical examination, a blood test or other investigating tests, Walk-in Clinic service is perfectly tailored to their needs.
Walk-in Clinic consultation is also suitable for students, visitors or travelers who temporarily reside in Canada and are in need of a medical consultation.
At the moment, Walk-in Clinic service is offered via telemedicine or in-person consultations at the clinic. Patients can ask for an in-person visit while making an appointment.

Family Medicine

Family Medicine:

The aim of family medicine is to provide personal, comprehensive, and continuing care for individuals in the context of the family and the community. Family doctors are responsible for the overall health and well-being of the family. They’re General Practitioners capable of handling most regular ailments and health concerns. They also provide preventative advice that can help you avoid different diseases or lifestyle illnesses down the line.
Family Medicine service is suitable for patients who already have a medical report and have been registered by their family doctor. Patients who need an annual physical exam or patients with chronic diseases in need of periodic check-ups can benefit from this service. Moreover, patients can use this service to get a referral from their family doctor in order to consult with a specialist.
All international students or other patients without RAMQ coverage can also benefit from our family medicine care.
We offer service in French, English, and Farsi languages.

Aesthetic Medicine

Aesthetic Medicine

With a passion for skin health and cosmetic treatments, our doctors combine medicine and science to provide individualized skin care that will improve the appearance and health of your skin.

The Neuromodulator Treatment (Botox):

Botox got its start as a cosmetic treatment. It smooths facial wrinkles by temporarily paralyzing muscles. Doctors also use Botox to treat neuromuscular conditions such as migraines, muscle spasms, and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).

Botox for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating):

Botox injections are a new treatment option for people with hyperhidrosis. You may be a candidate for Botox if your sweating fails to improve with prescription antiperspirants. Botox has been FDA-approved for people who sweat excessively from their armpits.

Botox for Bruxism (or teeth grinding):

If you tend to grind your teeth, you have a condition people in the dental profession call bruxism. This involuntary behavior can be quite an annoyance for you, and it may even be causing jaw pain, headaches, the wearing a way of tooth enamel, gum sensitivity, or chipped teeth. Botox (short-hand for botulinum toxin) has proven effective as a treatment for grinding teeth.

Botox for Wrinkle:

The Neuromodulator treatment can quickly and efficiently relax expressive muscles and smooth lines and wrinkles. Give your skin a smoother and refreshed look.

Dermal Fillers:

Fillers can be an ideal solution for facial lines and wrinkles. They are also used to plump and define lips, and fill hollow areas on the face. Dermal fillers can be combined with our Neuromodulator treatments to virtually eliminate frown lines.

Micro needling:

Micro needling is a minimally-invasive procedure that uses a handheld device containing very fine needles that inflict micro-punctures to the skin. These controlled injuries trigger the skin’s natural repair processes, stimulating collagen and elastin production. This procedure is most commonly used to help improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, stretch marks, and skin texture.
